That's why I'm not a fan of series that go on for so long. There is always going to be loads of filler.

I prefer shows that can finish in about 26 episodes.

I'm kind of agreeing with you these days. It's defintiely easier to manage shorter series.

I look forward to anime original arcs because it gives me something new, not just material I had previously seen in manga.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I'd still be watching Bleach too, I just got busy and now it'd be easier to just wait until the end of this one.

I don't read enough manga for it to be too much of an issue.

Watched anime today. Kampfer 9 wasn't out and I didn't get to Darker than Black 2, but I watched the latest episodes of the rest.

I did dislike Episode 8 of Kampfer. As amazing as Shizuka is (she's beginning to recall Bakkemonogatari's Hitagi to me), I can't handle an episode entirely devoid of female Natsuru. Without her, the entire allure of thseries falls apart for me and it becomes some lame harem.

Sacred Blacksmith 8 was very nice. Cecily wsn't weak for the first time; she was actually really cool. I do hope her path crosses with Charlotte and company again soon.

Kiddy Girl-and 7, actually, for the first time ,gave me something reminiscent of its predecesor. A good episode, that opens things up and raises more questions.

Fianlly, Shin Koihime Musou 8, was not as good as some episodes, but there is something infectious abotu Enjutsu. According to wikipedia her and her sexy aide Chokun are a yuri couple, so that makes it even better.

Sacred Blacksmith 9 showed some of Luke's past. He has a dead childhood friend a lot like Cecily, apparently. Doesn't make him any less of a jerk. Aria is still the better choice for Cecily, by far.

Kiddy Girl -and 8 showed off the cast of evil people, including a somewhat sundere loli princess. Un-oh and A-oh made their first real appearances of any length this time around. A-oh has a bit of a redesign, and looks less lame, but Un-oh, still looks weird. Never liked those two much. I guess it's good to see mroe familiar characters though. That and a more serious atmosphere is making it feel more like Kiddy Grade finally.

Shink Koihime Musou 9 was kind of fun. Ryuubi and Kannu finally did a little bonding, but it stopped short of yuri. The new characters introduced were a mechanically inclined girl who dresses scantily and what looks like a yuri couple made up of a cute brawler type girl and a meganekko who fights with twin swords. It was, needless to say, a good episode.

Kiddy Girl -and 9 left me depressed. I guess I should have expected that ending, but it was still hard to watch in what had before now been a nothing but light show. Glad to see the show on the upswing in terms of plot, action, and pretty much everything.

Sacred Blacksmith 10 was also nice. Lots of questions left abotu Lisa, Aria and everyone else (except Cecily; I think I have her pretty well understood). The big reveal on the hooded man was rather lame though; it's been obvious for I don't know how long.

Shin Koihime Musou 10 focusd o na new loli, who's quiet and wears a big pointed hat. She bonds with other hat wearing loli, Shuri. Kind of bland, but two lolis bonding is cute I suppose. More interesting is seeing the idol trio start to abuse their power. Wonder where that plot thread will end up.

Still behind on Darker than Black, but I'll get aroudn to it, I'm sure.
