Yes, it is. He's a very cool character.

It does have a rather varried cast. I like most of the characters, even if there are a few I don't like (Hitsugaya) and a few I view with relative apathy (Renji).

Bleach does have a varied cast... So many nice ones to pick from:

Yoruichi and her lover.

Rangiku.

Neliel is sexy.

So is Tia Harribel.

So is Retsu Unohana dressed like Tia Harribel.

Isane's hot.

So is Rukia, looking kind of loli here.

Nemu is really hot.

And so is Lisa.

Completely disagree, or at least with Bleach's massive amount. From what I've seen (up till about ep.170), very few of the characters are genuinely interesting or three-dimensional. I would much rather have a few characters that are than get bogged down with a bunch of ones that are not.

I thought the creator made a bunch of characters to hide the fact that there isn't much of a plot to the show.
