I am considering reading Zombie Powder to mine ideas for use in Bleach fan fiction. I heard a few details from it and it sounds a little like ideas I have for my story.
I wonder if the "fellate it forever" girl was something of an ancestor for Lisa, given that both read H. She did not resemble Lisa at all though. |
A girl who wears something like that and likes H stuff is awesome. So is Lisa.

I need to read it.
And it wasn't as successful, because a close friend or relative of Kubo's died during production, and he discontinued it. |
And I always heard it was discontinued because it never really found an audience. _________________

Kubo had some sort of break down, ceased all writing for a time, then announced he was discontinuing Zombie Powder. I am unsure as to the reason for his break down though. _________________

It's unfortunate...
I would have liked to read a completed Zombie Powder. _________________ Fu fu fu... |

Another reason I love Bleach is Kubo's creative use of kanji with furigana. Another author would just write ティブロン for the name Tiburón, but not Kubo; he will write Tiburón as 皇鮫后—roughly "shark empress", instantly informing readers what Tiburón means in a poetic way. _________________

Well, yes, which is unfortunate. It is lost in the anime too; it is something that needs to be read, not heard. _________________

I did hear the official English release of Bleach tries to convey the kanji name means somehow, but I don't know any details. _________________

I don't read the offical manga release, so I couldnt' tell you (I would, since I don't mind paying for thigns I like, but it's like so far behind that I wouldn't be able to take it).
I do watch the offcial anime translation, but that of course doesn't have it. _________________

Okay then. It is good to watch the offical dub on television to support it.
Another thing I like about Bleach are the zanpakuto. I love the transforming weapons and weapons that transform the user. _________________

Yeah; I like to watch both versions of an anime when I can, bot hto support localization and to see the diferences in how roles are approached.
And yes, the zanpakuto are one of my favorite parts too. _________________

Yes, I think Bleach has an excellent English dub. _________________

I'd agree. There's nothing wrong with it, at least. Most of the roles that need to be strong are. _________________

I also find Bleach to just have an interesting cast. No one particularly is boring to me; the unlikable characters are usually unlikable in interesting ways at least.
Plus, Bleach has Mayuri Kurotsuchi. That is a definate advantage. _________________
