I actually use Google's Picasa application these days. Seems pretty efficient, even if it's reduces large images to 880 pixels in height (which is usually big enough).

I like it because you're allowed to keep your pics private, and there's no regulation as far as I can tell. Uploading pics is really pretty easy too.
