Thank you all for reading.

I personally prefer overcast days to sunny ones, so Night's perspective on how grey skies make color more vivid is how I see it too.

Funny, I see it that way as well. I prefer summer to be the sunny season, so it's kind of a bummer that I have the sun in Southern California when it's Spring time (although today was light showers and dark overcast grey so it was awesome).

Yeah. I kinda hate sunny days myself. It gets stupidly hot here when it's sunny and that's no fun.
