Okay, due to our own situations and what not, we missed HOTD Ep. 4. I'm pretty sure we can still find the episode, so I'll search for it.

EDIT: I found the episode, but its not something I can download. At this point, I'm just going to watch it online, but at least I won't be watching it on YouTube.

Okay, so HOTD Ep. 4:

Nothing much really happened in the first half as it was just a recap of the first three episodes.

The only thing new was that Rei and Takashi found a police revolver and bullets. That came in handy when some rapist tried to kidnap Rei, to which Takashi shot the bastard. Other than that, that was the only high point.

FINAL OPINION: GOOD

Yeah, this is another downgrade, but I always do that for recap episodes, nothing personal. While it was awesome that Takashi shot that bastard, nothing else of significant importance happened.

So yeah, sorry to say that. Besides, its my opinion, I'm sure else can find other things that I'm not seein.

I know it's kind of dumb to be posting here still, but I'm going to do it anyway. So here's Episode 5 of High School of The Dead.

So, Mr. Shido is really pushing it and not surprisingly established a fucking cult. The remaining main cast left the bus, and when Mr. Shido tried to force Shizuka to stay, Khota once again showed his badassery, shooting Shido in the face saying that he only missed because he missed on purpose and was willing to kill him for all the crap he did to him.

Meanwhile, we get introduced to Shizuka's sniper friend, she's pretty hot. That fact the sorta looks like Rider from Fate/stay night makes for bonus points. Anyways, they don't get to the police station, but they do reunite anyways.

FINAL OPINION: FUCKING AWESOME

Yep, it went back to its original high point for two reasons: 1.) Khota is a badass gun otaku who really wants to kill Mr. Shido and 2.) lots of panty shots and yuri subtext. Also a top reason, 3.) plus, it turns out there maybe a love triangle (or square) between Rei, Saya, and Saeko, with all three vying for Takashi's attention and eventual affection. This is going to make for seriously funny antics.

Well, I did want to watch Episode 6, but I have to go to sleep (even though I'm not even fucking tired). So, this is Selrahc signing off.

Nostalgia time! All my posts will eventually be relocated to the RP forum, and later posts will basically be copy and paste versions of those reviews.

Ep. 6: Hoo boy, this is definitely a man's eye-candy episode. Rei playing around with Shizuka's and Saeko's busts makes for yuri subtext (kill me, this is not good for my standing for being asexual). Another reason why this is a man's eye-candy episode: GUNS. Granted, there's only three, but they still kill stuff so that means more firepower and more zombie-killing efficiency.

What else, oh, the whole sexual tension between Rei and Takashi (and of course Saeko and Takashi, this is going to be one hell of a love triangle; I'm willing to bet that Saya is going to be included soon, or maybe she is now and I'm just not seeing it). And Rei and Takashi (almost) kiss, shocker. I bet no one saw that coming.

FINAL OPINION: EXCELLENT

Yeah, I downgraded again, but not that bad. I did it for a good reason: there was no killing anything! I know its supposed to be like some fucking fortress, but come on, KILL SOMETHING! I would've downgraded further if it wasn't for the sexy fun between the four girls, but that's not a good reason to keep it from downgrading so let me get to the next reason as to how this episode was saved from the GOOD rating: the GUNS. It's all about the guns, I mean, sniper rifle? A fucking shotgun? Might as well add an AK-47 too! But again, not a good reason as to why I said EXCELLENT, so here's why: BECAUSE I FUCKING CAN. Yep, for no good reason, I gave it a rating higher than what I should've given it originally. Naked girls and guns are good and all, but this was a relief episode and I tend to be harsh on relief episodes.

So yeah, that's all I got. Ep. 7 will soon be posted as well.

Now for Ep. 7 of HOTD:

Alice is finally introduced, but the fact that her father got killed in front of her is pretty fucked up, even for some paranoid survivors. Yay, Takashi gets to save a little girl!...or not, due to all the zombies closing in on the dog's barking.

So, the rest of the gang are forced to evacuate and they save Takashi and Alice, woohoo. What was really interesting was Khota's skills with a gun: that fucker had a month of training using a gun!? I only had 5 days, and it didn't even fire real bullets! (granted, I know how to hold some real guns since I was able to hold a M-16 and a Beretta 92F [called the M9], but still!) Oh, and we finally get to see mass killing of zombies, yay!

FINAL OPINION: FUCKING AWESOME

This time, I gave it the rating it deserves. Fanservice helps, but I loved the ass kicking in this episode. The sad moment with Alice's father really teared me up, but at least Takashi gave the man a proper memorial. That wall-walking was pretty intense, that's awesome.

Did anyone notice Shizuka? Sleeping naked really reveals some aspects of her, it's too ambiguous to tell, but I think Shizuka's a lesbian. I mean, her roommate is female as well!

Ah well, I don't have anything else to say.

Heh. I'll be giving full impressions on the other forum when I'm caught up with everything, but yeah I really love to think there's something between Shizuka and Rika (who would be my favorite character easily if she had just a little more screen time). Two women, both very attractive but both confirmed to have no male love interests, often share an apartment, have essentially nothing in common, one with masculine interests and personality, one purely feminine. All of it adds up to them being a couple as I see it.

Oh yeah, and Alice's introduction was remarkably well captured. That scene with her father was powerful; had me tearing up as well.

I would think so.

I don't see how anyone would not cry after seeing that to be honest. That was just heartbreaking. Who the hell would do such a thing, even if the world is coming apart as they know it?

Well, they don't know if he's been touched by them. Very small bites are all it takes after all. On top of that, they may just not want any outsiders to come in, even if they're healthy. You know, everyone for themselves kind of attitude? Her father was threatening to bust down their door, which would have left them vulnerable but if they have limited resources they might see taking him as not a viable option either. It was a move of desperation.

That's true, he did have a wrench or whatever tool he was going to use as a battering ram. And I guess I don't register with that mentality, I was taught the "no man gets left behind" mentality. But I can understand if they were scared, desperation is also understandable. And I'm not religiously devoted to the no man gets left behind mentality, I've been known to abandon people if its way too dangerous.

Well, they did seem to have a moderately large family in that house. It's really likely they wouldn't have the resources to last very long as it is without added strain. In that sort of situation, allowing a stranger in does seem a little much.
