Well, the anime adaptation of Dance in the Vampire Bund will begin 7 January. A trailer can be seen on YouTube. I like the manga very much, so I am excited for this to come out. When I was looking at the official anime site I thought Mina would be more conservatively dressed, but the trailer shows her in just her cloak and pants like in the manga. That is somewhat amusing because Mina's voice actress, Aoi Yuuki, was involved previously in very child-oriented anime. Of course, she is still quite young, making her perfect for child roles.

It looks pretty good. Haven't read the manga, but I love vampire stories and blood and gore, so I'll definitely watch it.

Yes, there is definately blood in this story. It is an interesting political story too.

The story tries to explore what it would be like if there was a region set aside for vampires and how that would affect the rest of the world.

That sounds really interesting. Kind of sounds like District 9 with loli vampires.

No, the vampires are much better off than the aliens in District 9 since vampires designed and own the "Bund" themselves.

Looked up some more about it on wikipedia.

What role do werewolves play in the story? Are they in same situation as the vampires or have they already integrated into human society?

I read like three volumes of the manga and it is awesome. Loli vampire is hot.

As for the werewolves, they seem a little more integrable, but they also seem to serve the vampires. The male protagonist is a werewolf.

Anyway, this aneim should be awesome.
