Well, this was y my most anticipated series this season (though Queen's Blade second season was close). The manga is one of my favorite yuri series I follow, so I was understandably ecstatic about seeing an anime adaption.

The first episode was really kind of sad. Odd considering the manga is light and mostly comedic. Looking at the first chapter again, it is actually a pretty good adaptation, just the first chapter has a lot more crying and stuff in it than most. Second episode should be brighter. Hopefully. The pick for the opening theme worries me that they're going to slow this down and give it an Aoi Hana-like pace (the ending theme, was far more suitable at least).

Overall though, I did enjoy the first episode and an eager for more.

Yeah it was good. I am highly anticipating the next episode.

I'm so glad they keep making more and more yuri anime.

Yeah. I'm sure there will be. There are yuri ecchi manga out there. I'm sure we'll get an anime eventually.

Episode 2 was good. More of the comedic nature is showing. They do seem to be stretching the show with more focus on Sumika's feelings. It does sort of change the overall atmosphere of the show, but it's still cute and enjoyable. As long as I get to see Ushio fawn over lolis I'll be happy.

Yeah. They pulled him off well. Though they did make him somewhat sympathetic here where in the manga he was more or less a joke character.

I would expect at least a kiss between the leads by the end. Real yuri anime usually delivers that much (with a few exceptions).

I liked that show (minus the last episode). As far as I remember there was a kiss in the first few minutes too.

My parenthetical comment was aimed at something more recent.

I'm not sure I understand why. It was a cute, fun show. It wasn't perfect, but it had a lot going for it.

But I admittedly have a low quality accepting threshold what with finding stuff like the Ikkitousen anime and koihime Musou enjoyable, so it might just be me.
