I'm not a big manga reader tbh.
I do like Love Hina though, kind of introduced me to the whole otaku subculture. |

I haven't read alot of manga lately, but I guess I can reveal one of my favorites.
Hellsing, School Days, and Project ARMS.
Right now I'm currently reading Claymore and Kanokon. |

Uh... I hated School Days, the anime at least. Didn't read the manga though. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Why hate it? It succeeds at what it tries to be. _________________

I understand that. I just couldn't take it though.
The hatred I have for Natsuru in Kampfer is only about 1/100 compared to the hate I have for Makoto. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Unlike Natsuru, he was designed specifically to be completely and totally despised by the audience. That you hated him so much is the show's success. _________________

I personally love the School Days game, anime, and manga. The manga generally has a friendlier tone compared to the anime, and Makoto is alot nicer and more likable than his anime counterpart. |

The story wasn't really that great though, and their weren't any characters that I even remotely liked. The lead was a prick and the girls were portrayed as sluts just dieing to get into this guy's pants. The first half of the show was boring and the second half was infuriating. The art sucked. The animation sucked.
I rest my case. Feel free to disagree.
I did enjoy the ending. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

I don't think you're supposed to like anyone. You're just supposed to stare at it in shock that the characters could act so infuriatingly (or wait it out for the excellent payoff in the end).
I think it's a pretty brilliant doeconstruction of romantic triangles, and the harem-type romance genre in general, as hard as it was to watch at times. _________________

The girls were stereotyped as mindless idiots whose only purpose in life was to get laid by the guy. I'm sorry, but it all felt really misogynistic to me. If they were actually three-dimensional beings and the problems they faced were more complex, I might have cared about them. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? But the point is, your not supposed to care about them.
When the ending happens, you're supposed to be happy it turned out that way. _________________

I actually liked the animation, and it inspired me to draw manga in a similar style. Yeah, I was shocked the first time I watched it even though I've been hearing alot on how bad and infuriating it is. But after watching it the second time, I actually started liking it. Believe it or not, I'm probably one of the very few rare people on this planet who actually feels sorry for the main character. |

The show was so stupid though. How can I be shocked by something so ridiculous? _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

As what Koenma from the Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged Series said "Anime and logic don't mix." |
