There's worse stuff out there than Taylor Swift. In the talent void that is modern country pop she's probably one of the highlights. She at least writes her own songs. That's worth something, I've always thought.

Persoanlly, I'd rather listen to Taylor Swift than Celine Dion.

you can be an artist and still sing somebody else's song, because you're bringing an interpretation.

I realize this. I just always respect it when an artist writes their own material.

But, regardless of what they sing, I fail to acknowledge most of the contry pop and pop in general artists outthere today as "artists".

This song. It's called Unicorn, by a band called Gojira.

Gojira are a French metal band, but this song is hauntingly beautiful. They put whale-song behind their music, and for this song, it does wonders.

At this moment in time, im listening to "Ascendead Master" by Versailles Philharmonic Quintet of there "Noble" Album. Im taken a short break from listening to my favourite musican "Mana Sama" who was in "Malice Mizer" but know is in "Moi Dix Mois". To calm down the little fan girl inside me....hehe
