Its good to be nostalgic once in a while so here goes. Tell me what your favorite old cartoon is, somthing you watched when you were a kid. A show that you miss or maybe even one that was a guilty pleasure. Here we go:
I would have to say that my favorite old cartoon is Gargoyles. I use to watch this show all the time I was addicted to it. The characters were awsome and the story was completely different then anything I had ever seen before. Mixing celtic folk lore with the modern age. I could not beleive my ears when I heard that Disney had made this show. I mean it was just too cool for them. On top of that Zanitoe's first line in the show "Pay a man enough money and he'll walk head first into Hell" was somthing that I thought Disney would'nt go for at all. When I saw the first season box set on store shelves I just couldnt help my self I had to buy it. I also baught the first part of the second season only to find out later that the second half was never releaced out on dvd. Damn it, ah well what I have is good enough
Other favs that stand out in my mind are:
Power Rangers
Biker Mice from Marz
Carmon SanDiago
Animaniacs
Looney Toons
Tiny Toons
Dark Wing Duck....there are lots of others but I will stop here lol. _________________ "Are there any normal people left in the world or is everyone just back from Hell?" *SPAWN* |

Hmm, I too liked Gargoyles as a kid. Animaniacs was another real favorite, but I at least passively watched most of the ones you mentioned.
My favorite cartoon however, has to have been Batman: The Animated Series. That show was just awesome. It instilled in me a love of the Batman universe that exists to this day. I also rather liked the old X-Men cartoon and the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In general, I was into most cartoons featuring comic book super heroes (except Spideran and Superman, who I never really got into.
And well, I can recall a lot of wonderful cartoons I used to watch.
I can't help but be jaded when I look at the stuff the kids are presented with today. _________________

I know exactly what you mean Phil.
I watched the original Batman cartoon too as well as the original X-Men, cause my cousin was obsessed with them, lol. Superman was a somtimes thing for me and Spiderman was a never. I also enjoyed Batman Beyond, just because I found the idea of Batman training his succesor pretty interesting. TMNT was....well I watched his passivly, never realy got me. _________________ "Are there any normal people left in the world or is everyone just back from Hell?" *SPAWN* |

heh. TMNT was actually probably more my older brother's thing, but he got me kind of into it too, even if I was really young when it was on.
But yeah, those were some great shows. I din't watch as much of Batman Beyond as some of the others; I was definitely more of an original Batman guy, but what I did see of Beyond wasn't ba

They were just so cute but oddly enough my favorite character was the villain Noheart _________________ "Are there any normal people left in the world or is everyone just back from Hell?" *SPAWN* |

The original X-Men and Spiderman were awesome, as was the original Batman. I watched a lot of Batman Beyond, and I loved Batman Beyond Joker just because he seems a lot more psychotic. Other than those, my favorites were:
Looney Toons
Tiny Toons
Ahhh! Real Monsters
Rugrats
Power Rangers (until the end of SPD, although I saw some of Mystic Force)
Dark Wing Duck (that was a must) _________________

Go Dark Wing Duck! lol. I also watched Tail Spin, The Smoggies, and a show called Beatle Borgs that I dont think was on for very long. Beasties was also a big thing for me for a while. _________________ "Are there any normal people left in the world or is everyone just back from Hell?" *SPAWN* |

Yep, Dark Wing Duck was da bomb.
I also saw a Mortal Kombat cartoon series (wikipedia says it's supposed to be after MKII and some in MKIII). But for the most part, it was those cartoons I listed plus Kablam!, Ren & Stimpy, The Angry Beavers, and Dexter's Laboratory. _________________

I liked the first couple games in the series, though I always did prefer Street Fighter back in the day as far as fighting games went. _________________
