Still, I stand by it, that in large, AMV do not use good music.

Hmm. Watched them both.

The first one wasn't so impressive to me. Kind of bland. It's probably at least partly due to my unfamiliarity with the series, but it just didn't grab me.

The second one was admittedly pretty awesome. It benifits from using one of the most awesome songs ever, but it's also rather well made, with careful attention to the lyrics and synching things up. It was how an AMV should be (though not absolutely perfect...)
