Mnemosyne (『Mnemosyne-ムネモシュネの娘たち-』) is the story of Rin Asougi (麻生祇燐) and Mimi (ミミ), an immortal detective and her immortal assistant. From 1990 to 2055, they work on solving strange and brutal crimes, Rin often suffering grotesque injury in the process, but she heals quickly. Rin also often gets into erotic girls love situations (Mimi too sometimes). Rin and Mimi seem to be lovers, or at least are highly affectionate toward one another.
I enjoy this series very much, and it just occured to me to ask if anyone else has seen it. _________________

Yep. I watched it. It is awesome.
I like to think Rin and Mimi are lovers too. _________________

When I saw the first episode, I had no idea what to expect except someone was immortal. When it turned out to have immortality, gun fights, girls love, evil corporations, extreme piercing, and zombies, I knew I had found a true treasure. _________________

Yeah, not sure I'm in for the piercing and some of the stuff in it, but it was still really awesome. _________________

The body piercing was more shoking than erotic. It certainly made a striking image though. _________________

Haven't seen it either. I might watch it when I have time. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

I'd recommend it.
It's short. An OVA series. Only 6 episodes, I believe. _________________

Does it have a huge amount of fanservice?
I'm not really looking for another show like that. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

well, yeah. it kind of does. It's got a very dark sort of mood to it though; it has atmosphere instead of just a bombardment of ecchi. So, while you do see a fair share of sexualized imagery, it's not very similar to something like Seikon no Qwaser at the core. _________________

Well, as long as it isn't a bunch of upskirt shots, easily torn clothing, and other typical ecchi stuff, I'd be fine with it. Nudity doesn't bother me if it's in a serious light. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Well, there might be just a little of that stuff (haven't seen it in a while; not entirely sure), but the show does take itself very seriously for the most part. _________________

But it's not the same kind of fanservice that's in Seikon, right? Does it try to be realistic about it (not in how much, but how it's portrayed)? _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Well, sort of. It's kind of hard to explain. _________________

Eh, whatever. Might as well go watch it and just decide for myself. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.
