What do you plan to watch? Chu-Bra looks like what I've always wanted.

Wow, almost don't even wat to think abotu the Winter season just yet, but I guess I'll take a look.

Dance in the Vampire Bund is a must watch. I've read like three volumes of the manga and it's awesome. I would have preferred the other manga I've read by the author, Nozumu Tamaki, Hakodate Youjin Buraichou Himegami, as that is a yuri ecchi samurai action manga, but the loli vampire is almost just as welcome. The fact that one of my favorites, Studio SHAFT is handling it only makes me more eager to see the said loli vampire in action.

Seikon no Quasar is another must watch, I've read a bit of. Lots of hot girls, probably lots of nudity and fetish type stuff popping up. If it's anything like the manga, the anime will be awesome.

Katanagatari, I believe, is based on a light novel by the same author as last season's Bakemonogatari. If so, I'll likely give it a try ,even if it's not SHAFT.

I'll have to learn mroe about the rest. So-Ra-Wo-No-To looks promising, and if Chu-bra has a shred of intelligence it might be worth at least trying, but none of the others stand out as of now.

And it kind of sucks that after Aoi Hana and Sasameki Koto the past two seasons, there's no straightforward yuri anime here, but I guess I can't expect that all the time.

I'll probably watch Durarara!! because it's made by the Baccano!! creators and it was pretty good.

Dance in the Vampire Bund looks violent so I'll probably watch it.

Seikon no Quasar and Hidden God both look pretty cool, and Ladies vs Butlers and Chu Bra sound like they might be dumb enough to be entertaining. Everything else I'll probably pass up unless I run out of things to watch.

Hmm, I don't know about Durarara. Never watched Baccano. I did watch Yasuda Suzuhito's (the illustrator) anime, Yozakura Quartet, and one of the best parts of it was his distinctive art style. The pic there seems to indicate the male to female character ratio isn't skewed quite as wonderfully as it was there, so it's probably a skip (even if the one girl pictured is rather nice).

Dance in the Vampire Bund, from what I've read, does contain a fair amount of blood and violence, though it's not constant, nor is it the point of the series. It's actually a rather serious series (despite the loli vampire fanservice) dealing with social and political interactions between humans and vampires.

I agree that Hidden God sort of stands out as well. I like the art in that pic, though it's too early to tell at this point if it'll be something great or something generic.

Hanamaru Yochien looks to be the most terrifying thing ever.

So, this season's full of win, amirite?

Could be worse I guess. They aren't any real big standouts for me, but some of them sound pretty interesting. Durarara is the only one I can kind of guess what it's going to be like. All the others I can only speculate based on the pictures and the summaries. I don't read enough mangas or light novels to know about some of them.

Btw, DitVB doesn't have A LOT loli fanservice does it? That kind of stuff doesn't really appeal to me.

Yeah, that looks too frightening to watch.

And yeah, it looks pretty good for a winter season (traditionally the weakest season for anime).

Well, the female lead takes the form of a young girl (though she is really an immortal vampire and is much older, and thus mature). She is somewhat sexual at times too. It's not really focused on fanserivce though, it's there, but it's nto one of those series where it's the whole point.

Ok, as long as it doesn't have an overbearing amount I'll still watch it.

The more loli the better, as far as I'm concerned. Either way, there's a lot of panties this season. Should be a laugh.

I agree entirely.

Especially when they're badass loli vampires, as in Dance in the Vampire Bund's case.

Vampires and lolis are two of the most awesome things anime females can possibly be. Combining the two is going to be immense. Proof of this is Evangaline Athanasia Kitty McDowell, from Negima.

This may be a combo as immense as the Ninja / Maid combination seen in the form of Sayoko from Code Geass, or the two sexy maid ninja from Kamen no Maid Guy.

And the best part is that unlike those characters, vampire loli Mina Tepes is pretty much the main character (well a male werewolf is the main character, but you get the idea).

Yeah, it will easily be the highlight of the winter season for me.
