Oh yeah, Burn After Reading was another good film, even if it didn't have the lasting impact as some of the others.

Inglourious Basterds was incredible. Just awesome. I'd probably place it as Tarantino's third of fourth best film.

I thought it would have been better if some scenes, like the bar scene, weren't so long. Also, I wish the spotlight was more on the Basterds rather than the two french girls. It's 2 and a half hours long and you still don't get to know most of the Basterds. The ending was amazing though. I can't figure out way the nazi guy was so easily tricked.

I liked the bar scene. Dialog heavy scenes like that are the highlights of Tarantino's films. Ending was the best part though. Thoroughly enjoyable film the whole way through for me. It was probably the best performance of Brad Pitt's career too.

Agreed. I liked the bar scene too, but I just felt that more time could have been spent on developing the Basterds. If the film was longer, I wouldn't be complaining about these scenes.

Well, I remember reading somewhere that Tarantino was considering maybe doing a prequel. If he does, perhaps more of them will be focused on there.

Personally, I think the film was just right in length. A film of that sort doesn't need to be 3 hours long.

Yeah, you're right. I would definitely want a prequel if one was to be made. Have you seen Paranormal Activity?

I can't imagine a horror film that's actually scary anymore lol. They're all about blood and guts nowadays.

I don't really enjoy modern horror films. They just seems stupid and pointless to me for the most part. I all but avoid the genre.

There seems to be a lot of people testifying that the movie is one of the scariest ever, but then again they said that about the Blair Witch Project. I thought that movie sucked personally.

I was unable to finish the Blair Witch Project. Not because I was scared, but because I felt detached from the whole thing and got bored of it.

Just finished watching 2012 online. It has be one of the single most ridiculous movies I've ever seen.

It was enjoyable though.
