Films, unlike books, are something I am very much absorbed in.
I follow certain directors and watch everything they release. I'll just list films, but you should notice a lot share directors.
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Kill Bill Vol. 1
Kill Bill Vol. 2
Inglourious Basterds
True Romance
The Big Lebowski
No Country for Old Men
Fargo
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins
Watchmen
V for Vendetta
Iron Man
Sin City
From Dusk Till Dawn
Planet Terror
Star Wars (all three original trilogy films)
The Lord of the Rings films
the Harry Potter films
Unforgiven
Gran Torino
A Clockwork Orange
Full Metal Jacket
Taxi Driver
Zombieland (the most recent addition to the list)
I think I'll stop there. I could probably think of more. _________________

I'm going to be completely unoriginal and say Pulp Fiction is greatest movie that has ever been made. Samuel L. Jackson is amazing!!! I'm kind of surprised that very few of your favorite films have lesbians in them. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Pulp Fiction is probably my favorite too. Samuel Jackson is like the ultimate badass.
I guess they don't often put lesbians in the type of movies I like... I don't know. _________________

The Coen Brothers are overrated though. So is the Dark Knight and Zombieland. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Disagree entirely.
The Dark Knight is the best comic book super hero movie ever made.
Zombieland, though not one of the best movies ever, was hillarious and fun.
And the Coen Brothers rarely make unejoyable films (even if a couple I've scene aren't exceptional, they were still enjoyable). _________________

The Dark Knight was excellent, but I think Heath Ledger made the movie. Christian Bale never really impressed me (I hate the batman voice), and I didn't believe for a second that the boat with passengers wouldn't waste the boat with the criminals on it. Didn't understand why batman had to make himself the villain at the end. Wouldn't the city want a savior to protect them from the criminals over a dead, good attorney?
Zombieland was also pretty good, but like you said not the one of the best movies ever made.
I honestly didn't like No Country for Old Men. Javier Bardem made a good villain but everything else was kind of blah. The story didn't pull me in and I thought the main character made some stupid mistakes. Once again, didn't really get the ending, but I've only seen it once. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Heath Ledger did really stand out in the Dark Knight. Christain Bale wasn't as impressive. I agree. It's still an excellent film that stands well above most everything in the genre.
And you didn't say No Country for Old Men was overrated; I kind of think it is too (though I'd still say it is a very, very good film). You said the Coen Brothers were overrated, and looking at the Big Lebowski, Fargo, O Brother,Where art Thou?, Blood Simple and a few others. I'd disagree. They are skilled directors, worthy of the respect they get. _________________

I probably should have just said NCfOM. I did like (but didn't love) Fargo and the Big Lebowski, but the reason I said they were overrated is because that movie stuck out in my mind the most as an acclaimed movie that didn't live up to the hype. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Yeah. I like the movie. I thought it was a great filme. But I wouldn't say it is one of the best movies of all time, or even the Coen Brothers' best movie (that would be the Big Lebowski, which succeeds at being absolutely hillarious and an intriguing character piece at the same time). It was certainly overhyped.
The Coen brothers do best with dark comedies. No Country for Old Men was almost too serious a fit for their talents. _________________

I also liked their film Burn After Reading. It was a pretty funny black comedy. Btw what did you think of Inglourious Basterds (I know it's on your greatest movie list)? _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.
