I am kind of glad it will not be Funimation or A.D.V.; it seems like they mostly use their own little cast to do their dubbing while everyone else hires anyone. It is strange, but it annoys me when I am looking for English voice actors for my characters, and notice some of them seem to work exclusively for Funimation or A.D.V. _________________

It seems unlikely to me that the average anime voice actors would want to do it. It'll most likely be a cast of amateurs who suck. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

I find that voice actors are rarely picky about that sort of thing unless it is pure H. _________________

You just don't get A-list voice actors for these kind of shows in America.
Maybe they will do a good job, but I'm definitely skeptical. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Well who are the American "A-list" voice actors exactly? _________________

I don't know. I don't watch dubs that often. I'd say it would be big name people you see doing almost ever popular anime like Cowboy Bebop, Bleach, or Code Geass.
It's know it's not like those shows, but I'm just saying. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Since Queen's Blade is considered mainstream, any actors from those dubs is likely to appear in a Queen's Blade dub. _________________

I don't know. Would something mainstream in Japan be considered mainstream here?
They aren't many people I know who actually like the show. _________________ Wanna come over to my house and listen to Jimi Hendrix? Then we can play strip search.

Well, I don't mind that Funimation and ADV use their own in-house dubbing studios instead of contracting from other companies. Also, as Bang Zoom, Viz, Manga Entertainment and such are located in California and ADV and Funimation are located here in Texas, it's understandable that the actors usually work exclusively for one or the other. It'd be inconvenient to have to take a several hour flight like that every time you want to do a job (though going from Houston to Dallas isn't so big deal, which is why you see Funimation and ADV sharing some actors). I think the quality of the dubs i overall comparable anyway, at least usually.

I'd probably give you these names:
Crispin Freeman
Wendee Lee
Johnny Young Bosch
Michelle Ruff
Stephanie Sheh
(heh, I just named the main English cast of the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya...)
Steve Blum
Kate Higgins
Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn
Vic Mignogna
Michael McConnohie
Kirk Thornton
Eh, I could probably name more, but those are probably the most prolific.

The show probably isn't as mainstream here, unfortunately. _________________

I don't know what Americans consider a "mainstream" anime, but the same people tend to dub across everything that is not purely H.
The voice actors for dubs of Mezzo Forte, Ikki Tosen, and Tenjho Tenge seem to be quite "mainstreet", and those are not much different from Queen's Blade in content (in fact, Mezzo Forte uncut is more extreme than Queen's Blade). _________________

Mainstream anime would be stuff like Bleach and Naruto and maybe even going to stuff like Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gjost in the Shell and Code Geass. Basically the stuff that gets shown on TV. Very few anime do show up on TV, so the licensing companies mostly rely on DVD sales. Some DVD shows might be considered mainstream here, such as Hellsing.
Mezzo Forte doesnt' have too many big name voice actors. The lead actress, Mellissa Fahn, is somewhat well known, but most of the others I don't recognize, even though I know quite a bit about dubs.
Ikki Tousen had some big names, but not universally so. Also, the sequels were picked up by somone else than the original series (Media Blasters, the company that has Queen's Blade...) and recieved a dub from some amateurs I've never heard of (though I havent' seen the dub, so I cant' say they really suck).
Tenjho Tenge had a first rate dub, with a very solid cast. _________________

Here is another picture from my book. There are many more, but the fact that I cannot find many (including my favorite) on the Internet discourages me. But this I have to put up now.
I use this to show support for Aludra/Irma. _________________

That really is an awesome pic.
Irma/Aludra does seem like a good pair (even if I do like Echidna/Irma too). _________________
