I picked it mostly because of the story, which sounds pretty good. Not really sure what to expect.

Well, the tags say it has a tsundere heroine, which would for me, but in addition to that, I tend to like more adult looking girls. Or lolis. And also, I really love girls who can fight, particularly if they use swords and or wear armor. Also, catgirls, demon girls, elf girls, and things like that really work.

Sort of simple but cute high school girls don't do much for me.

It depends on the High school girl, for me. Those ones look kind of bland.
