Ah, I see what happened. Showgate idoes have a production credit for Black Blood Brothers. Still, they're the Japanese producers, Funimation is the licensor/distrbutor.
As for the show, it's a maybe. I did enjoy Hellsing and Trinity Blood. Personally, I'd list my favortie vampire anime as Tsukihime even if I probably shouldn't as I'm supposed to be a TYPE-MOON fanboy and liking the Tsukihime anime is pretty much testament to not havign played the visual novel. I'd probably palce Blood+ as my second favorite vampire anime though.
I don't know what I saw. It was on TV, on some movie channel. Don't recall much about it really.
And yes, Selrahc, it was awesome. _________________

Ah I see okie dokie. Dont think I've ever heard of Tsukihime before but Blood + has been recomended to me. Just havent gotten around to it yet. I hold Black Blood Brothers higher then Trinity because Trinity had a really horrible ending.
VHD fan girl first class here so I would recomend seeing Bloodlust, cause like I said before it was the best one out of the two and its the one ur more likely to find. The animation is just gorgous _________________ "Are there any normal people left in the world or is everyone just back from Hell?" *SPAWN* |

Tsukihime is pretty good. It's a little slow paced, and it's not really like a conventional vampire anime. I really loved the characters though.
Trinity Blood did have a kind of bad ending.
Heh. I'll consider looking into it. _________________

Humm...well I'll look it up As for Trinity I cannot stand cliffhanger endings on anime's that only have one season. Too many loose ends. _________________ "Are there any normal people left in the world or is everyone just back from Hell?" *SPAWN* |

Agreed. I hate it when it just cuts off.
I also hate when they come up with a anime original endings though, as usually they do a disservice to the original manga. _________________

I've never read the Trinity Blood manga. The artwork just didnt appeal to me. Never read Hellsing either so I liked the ending of the original Hellsing anime, unlike most fans I have talked to. _________________ "Are there any normal people left in the world or is everyone just back from Hell?" *SPAWN* |

The Hellsing manga is pretty cool. I like it better than the original anime. That's not to say the anime is bad, even if pretty much a whole half of it is anime original. _________________

The Hellsing manga's art work didnt do anything for me. The artwork and the story of a manga has to be good for me to read it. If one of the elements in missing chances are I'll by pass it. The only thing I didnt like about the Hellsing anime's ending is Incognito. He's just a lil too creepy for me but other then that I thought it was good _________________ "Are there any normal people left in the world or is everyone just back from Hell?" *SPAWN* |

Heh. I kind of like the manga's art. It's gritty, but kinda cool.
My preferred form for the series is the OVA. _________________

Trinity Blood's original form is a novel series. The manga has even less material than the anime did, although the anime ran many events in a different order than in the novels. The novels cover much more story. _________________

Nope. Just checked and the novels are licensed. Tokyopop is releasing them in North America. _________________

I wanted to get the Earthsea books too but I'm still waiting on the movie that studio Ghibli was supposed to be doing for it. But I had heard that there was some kind of conflict between the studio, Hayao Miyazaki, and Hayao's son who was apparently supposed to be replaceing his father for the makeing of the film. Shame it looked really good in the ads. _________________ "Are there any normal people left in the world or is everyone just back from Hell?" *SPAWN* |
